AM8
The AM8 is one of SVP Aerospace´s multisector antennas. It’s a very compact, robust and easy-to-install solution for applications where hemispherical coverage with high gain is needed.
The AM8 antenna is comprised of 7 vertical linear polarization sector panel antennas to offer an omnidirectional coverage. It also includes an up antenna which allows hemispherical coverage.
The AM8 antenna integrates a bandpass filters and down-converters. At the output it offers the received signal filtered, amplified and converted (with LNA included) to the UHF band.
This antenna has been designed to be used in the receiver site in airborne links in diversity 8 mode; the up-down antenna allows the reception of the signal coming from the helicopter even if it is in the vertical direction.
