The AVC-103 antenna is an omnidirectional circular polarization antenna. Many applications benefit from circular polarization to optimize performance, in particular ground to airborne applications.
The circular polarization improves signal robustness in multipath environments and in motion links. It can be installed in the fuselage of the helicopter or in an actuator arm usually located in the skid of the helicopter.
